The art critic made another note in her book as she looked at the last exhibit. Glancing closer she confirmed that yes, the woman was alive and an actual woman. It was an odd exhibit to say the least, and raised a lot of questions. Not in the way that good art should raise questions about life and society, but about how the ‘artist’ had managed to get his models to remain so very still in their poses.

“I call this one ‘Position of Submission’, as you can see her head is bowed just so. Her eyes are closed, relaxed. She’s at peace with an empty mind, knowing only that she must please her Master,” the artist explained from behind her.

Startled the reviewer turned to see him standing there, playing with a gold chain. On the end of the chain was a crystal that reflected the gallery lights as it danced. The refracted light shone in her eyes, forcing her to blink and lose her train of thought.

Turning back to the last piece she asked, “How do you get them to stay so still?”

“Oh I work very closely with each of my subjects. It’s all about calming their minds, allowing them to find peace. They just need to focus on my words, and allow the relaxation to spread as the words fill the mind. As you can see she’s very relaxed, calm. No thoughts and no worries. Relaxed.”

Nodding the critic made another note in her book and adjusted her stance slightly. She was suddenly feeling very warm and flushed.

“And where do you hire them?”

“Oh they’re people I’ve worked with before. This for example is Nicole. She was… is the gallery owner. At first she was reluctant to allow me to exhibit here but we were able to work out a compromise. See it turns out that she simply wanted to be a part of the show, to enjoy the same peace and relaxation of submission that my other projects enjoy.”

“I see,” she said, not really seeing. Done with her notes she turned again towards him, the crystal catching her eyes again. The light causing her to blink and once more lose track of her thoughts.

“Hmm…” she said, trying to form words.

“So can I look forward to a glowing review?” the artist asked, twisting the chain.

Caught up with her own mind once more the critic smiled politely and shook her head, “No spoilers. You’ll just have to see it with everyone else.”

“Ah, well I thought you might want to be open with me. It’s so nice to be honest and open with people, so much more relaxing than keeping secrets. I always feel so much more relaxed, open, and wonderful when I tell people what I think.”

“Open,” she said, losing track of her thoughts again. He was right, she should be honest. “Well I’m going to say that it’s not art, that it’s exploitation. That this is more a Victoria Secret store than anything to do with art. Sexy women in poses isn’t fit for a gallery.”

It felt good to be open and honest. She relaxed, happy to have gotten that off her chest.

“I see. I’m glad you were honest about finding this very sexy. About how aroused seeing their submission makes you,” he said.

“No, that’s not what I meant,” she said. The critic felt herself flush again, and squeezed her legs together as she felt a sexual twinge at his words. The swinging crystal cut off her thoughts again.

“It’s okay. Their submission is sexy. Look at Nicole again. Her head bowed to her Master. Body relaxed, muscles warm and heavy. Slow breathing, deeply. In and out. Feeling so good to be a doll, a toy for me. Wanting so much to please me, to pose for me. So warm, relaxed and obedient.”

A wet spot had appeared on the critic’s jeans as her cunt was soaking now. She felt him touch her neck, a relaxing caress.

Her turned her back towards him, the crystal still there. Swinging.

“Isn’t that sexy?” he asked.

“Yes,” she admitted.

“Good. She looks so comfortable and at peace. Don’t you crave that peace, and certainty?”

“Yes.”

“Warm, relaxed. So warm you feel like you don’t need that shirt on anymore. So warm, your clothes are hot and uncomfortable. Take them off now and I’ll show you my last piece. It’s nearly done, I just need a model.”

This makes me want to go to the museum.

Not to look at the exhibits…

… but to become part of them.
